Our annual Christmas party is being held on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 6:00 PM in the Fort Sumter House lobby. Some dishes are being provided by a caterer. If you wish, you may bring an appetizer or dessert. Wine and mixers will be provided.
This year the 2014 Reindeer Run will be held on Saturday, December 6th, 2014. Most of the affected streets (including Murray Blvd., King Street, and South Battery adjacent to FSH) will be blocked that morning from 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. East Bay St (in the vicinity of Southend Brewery) will be blocked from 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. A map of the race route and full details can be found on the website at www.reindeerrun.org.
The Knights of Columbus organization is hosting an annual 5K run and walk on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27th, 2014. They anticipate the event lasting from 7 am until 12 noon and are notifying all impacted neighborhoods. A map of the race route is located on the desk in the front lobby of FSH.
