Notification of Annual Homeowners Meeting October 31, 2016

The Annual Meeting of the Fort Sumter House Association will be held at 6:30pm in the Lobby on Monday, October 31, 2016.

At 5:00pm, prior to the Annual Meeting, there will be an Insurance Workshop conducted, in the Lobby, by our agent, Guy Riska, with Global Risk Insurance. Insurance is an involved and important topic. Mr. Riska will provide you with information you need to make sure you are properly insured. We encourage everyone to attend.

If you are unable to attend the Annual Meeting, please complete the enclosed proxy statement naming someone you wish to represent you and vote in your place.

**If you will be absent, your proxy is required
to insure a quorum for the meeting**

Proxies should be submitted to the Administrative Manager prior to the day of the meeting. Your proxy may be mailed, faxed (see number below), hand delivered, or emailed to [email protected].

The terms of Beau Clowney and Beth Dixon will expire and Glenn DeBiasi is resigning his position. Thus there are three (3) seats on the Board of Directors up for election this year. As of today, the following names have been placed in nomination:

Blase Carabello Apt 105
Beau Clowney Apt 102 (incumbent)
Hal Cottingham Apt 502/504

In addition, you may also write-in candidates not listed above on the ballot. Please be sure that whoever you write in as a candidate is willing to serve on the Board.

You may use the enclosed ballot to select your preference to fill the available 3 seats.

Ballots and proxies must be submitted before 6:30pm on October 31, 2016, so that voting results can be tabulated before the end of the Annual meeting. Like the proxies, ballots can be mailed, faxed, hand delivered, or scanned and emailed to [email protected]. Any ballot submitted after the 6:30pm start of the Meeting may be discarded.
