ROLE OF FSH STAFF
The role of a staff in condo buildings varies considerably. Particularly for new residents who may not know the role of the FSH staff, we would like to provide some clarity.
- Chris Weiner is the Facility Manager. He is responsible for the common areas of the physical facility and managing the staff.
- Joe Yetsko is the Administrative Manager. He is responsible for managing the financial and administrative aspects of FSH. Currently he works Tuesday-Thursday, 7am-3pm and is available for your questions.
- Lanwood Beale and Eric Green provide custodial and security services.
- Trident Security provides security during the 11pm-7am shift seven nights per week.
- You can contact the staff at 843-723-0064.
The staff is responsible for the common areas, not private units. We have discussed having concierge services but currently we are not funded to provide them. As a courtesy the staff will help when time is available with very small projects (10 min) within a private unit. For larger projects owners will need to call their property manager or hire their own trades people for projects such as replacing a water heater, repairing a leaking pipe, painting, repairing a door bell, repairing appliances, etc. Chris can suggest trades people if you wish. The staff can tell you if newspapers have been delivered to the building, but if they have not you will need to contact your newspaper company. As a courtesy, with advanced notice the staff can adjust your thermostat if you are coming to your unit from being away.
We believe these are the appropriate roles for the FSH staff, considering how we are currently funded.
NO PARKING IN THE LOADING ZONES
We remind you that the loading zones in the front and back of our building are for emergency vehicles and brief (5 minutes or less) loading/unloading if the driver stays with the car or the flashers are on. We have had people leaving vehicles for extended periods. A fire truck or ambulance would not have had room to be properly positioned. Residents who have trouble walking would have had to walk further. Please be considerate of your neighbors.
NO TAILGATING INTO THE BUILDING
For security reasons we ask that you not allow people to tailgate into the building unless you know they are legitimate. We have had situations where someone without a fob went through the doors that were opened by someone with a fob. Some should not have been in the building.
We welcome your comments.
