Bicycles are stored in a storage area that is accessed via a door from the loading dock. Currently this space is very overcrowded. There are many untagged bicycles and we have no way to know which of these bicycles belong here and which ones do not.
Common area storage space is very limited. Building management is taking an inventory of all bicycles in this storage area to insure they belong here and to make the space more manageable and less crowded.
If you have an untagged bicycle, you must obtain a FSH bicycle tag from the Building Manager, Joe Yetsko, before October 29, 2012 or risk loss of the bicycle.
Beginning October 29, 2012, house staff will start removing bicycles from this storage area that are not inventoried and tagged.
Also note that all items left in this area are left at owner’s risk. The Fort Sumter House Association does not assume responsibility for missing or damaged items left in the bicycle storage room.
